A rant about FREE (giveaways, contest etc.)

Please excuse the following rant that can’t fit into 140 characters.

When do people take a look in the mirror and begin to question themselves? What exactly has happened to our society?

People see the word FREE and are willing to do anything to get the FREE reward. What happened to people working hard for money and having the joy of spending (or saving) every hard earned cent?

These days people are willing to do anything for something FREE. They say nothing is truly free and in many cases what is lost in exchange for that FREE item is the person’s moral integrity.

Maybe if people took the time they spend trying to get the free item and put that time towards a meaningful goal, our society would be a better, more honest place. When a person is manipulating a FREE contest, whether it be photoshopping etc., they are taking society down a notch.

It’s time for our society to get back on the moral high ground.
